Who stays with the kids-- on what days and what times? Discuss on how long you think is the reasonable time for you to come up with a decision whether divorce is really the best for everyone.

Remember that your kids should be properly informed about your plans and why you are doing it. Never fail to assure them that the reason you are willing to go through a trial separation is because you do not want to be impulsive in making harsh decisions, and that you are willing to give yourselves a chance to patch things up for everyone’s well-being.
