Steps in Taking Care of Yourself
Keep a journal – Even if you are not the writing type, keeping a journal will surely help you cope with the daily stress being a divorcee brings. Set sometime, even just about 15 minutes, to write about how you are feeling and what are the things that you want to do. Browsing through your old entries will let you know how much you have improved or whether you are on the right track.
Take care of your health – Eat well and dress well. If you do not keep your hygiene and you skip your meals, you would further depress yourself looking pale and ugly.
Socialize – It is not the end of the world. It is still a colorful life after all. All you got to do is go out and have good conversations. Being able to express your ideas on things always makes you feel you are something of worth.
